One option that was on my to-do list for some time is the new ‘Volume rocker locker’ option (yes, there’s an app that helped with inspiring the name).
I often find it annoying that apps like YouTube or Netflix don’t switch the volume controls to the Media stream when launched but rather stay on the default Ringtone stream. With Netflix this stays on Ringtone even while the video is buffering. Only after the video has started playing you can control its volume.
So now you can create a Netflix clone and make the volume buttons change the Media volume at all times. Or maybe clone the Clock app and default the buttons to the Alarm volume stream…
